Oh, hello! You’d like to know a bit more about Little Grassbird, would you?
If you answered no this probably isn’t the page for you (perhaps the work galleries are more your cup of tea).
If you answered yes (I don’t blame you – who doesn’t love an about page?) then you’re in the right place.

If you’re here, hooray! That almost certainly means that you’re exactly the kind of person I started the business for. Let me guess, you’re creative, a bit quirky, you care about our gorgeous planet, and you’re likely to be a bit of an animal person. I’m hoping at least one of those is right. If not, that’s fabulous too. Everyone is welcome here!
Well, maybe not everyone. I’m not a fan of nasty people, and they aren’t welcome.
Now where were we? Ah, yes, the about page.
I've been making for as long as I can remember. I hear you, it's the classic creative person story. I was a shy and strange kid, and somehow I walked away with art awards in primary school and in high school. I actually came top in the school for art at the end of year 12 #humblebrag.
After I finished school I went and studied ceramics and illustration for a year. I like to think that means I have 1/3 of a Bachelor of Visual Arts. After that year I felt brave enough to move to Melbourne where I studied jewellery and costume design. Because life can be a trickster I was unable to finish the costume course, but I finished off jewellery earning an Advanced Diploma in Engineering Technology. Yep, doing jewellery meant I graduated an engineer.
That's more than enough about me. Hopefully I’ll catch you in the comments, or somewhere else online (I tend to use Instagram the most).
Until next time! xx

Things I do when I'm not working
Collecting and reading books, strolling in the bush (if I’m honest, it’s more thinking about strolling in the bush rather than actually getting out there) , overusing brackets (here’s another set!), eating chocolate, and cuddling my two cats.
