McCall's 3942 - size 10,12,14 - carrier piece missing - 1988
Ok, I'll get on to the unlined jacket, blouse, skirt and pants that you could make with this pattern in a second. First of all, how is the lass on the front standing like that? Her feet are 90degrees different to hear head! Also, did anyone else think she was holding a motorbike helmet?
A motorbike helmet is a pretty good example of one of the vibes this pattern gives off. You too can have this tough-but-not-too-tough look if you make yourself a set like our friend in the photo has. Or you could use it like they have in the illustrations where the ensemble suddenly goes from being out with your gang (ooh, you could totally to an 80s style Pink Ladies look with this!), to going out for casual (but also fancy) cocktails.
The pants and blouse are uncut, so they could be made in either size 10, 12, or 14.
The skirt and blouse are cut to size 12.
Bust 83cm, 87cm, 92cm
Wasit 64cm, 67cm, 71cm
Hips 88cm, 92cm, 97cm
The envelope has a few small rips, and one side has split a little bit. There are rips in piece 1 (jacket front), 10 (loop), 11 (sleeve), and 12 (skirt front). There's a big rip in piece 5 (sleeve). Piece 17 (carrier - it's the bit that turns into the belt loops) is missing.
